Why Use This
Crypto markets trade 24/7 with no closing bell, which means opportunities and risks never stop. Stratosfi gives you real-time data, full charting, and AI analysis for thousands of cryptocurrencies in the same platform you use for stocks. Instead of switching between a stock broker and a crypto app, you monitor everything in one place. Whether you are a Bitcoin-only investor or actively trading altcoins, having crypto data alongside your traditional portfolio gives you a complete picture of your financial exposure.
How to Get Started
- Open Crypto Markets — navigate to the Crypto Markets tab to see the top cryptocurrencies ranked by market cap with live prices.
- Click into a coin — click BTC or ETH to open the full chart. Add RSI and MACD just like you would on a stock chart. Crypto charts support all the same indicators.
- Check market dominance — look at the Bitcoin dominance percentage at the top of the page. This single number tells you whether the market is in a "risk-on" altcoin phase (dominance falling) or a "flight to quality" BTC phase (dominance rising).
Pro Tips
- BTC dominance is your market regime indicator: When Bitcoin dominance is rising, altcoins typically underperform — the market is de-risking into the most established asset. When dominance is falling, money is rotating into altcoins and DeFi tokens. Adjust your exposure accordingly.
- Volume is everything in crypto: A 15% move on 2x normal volume is meaningful. A 15% move on thin weekend volume often reverses. Always check volume before acting on any price signal.
- Technical indicators work on crypto, but with adjustments: RSI, MACD, and Bollinger Bands work well on BTC and ETH. For smaller altcoins, be aware that thin liquidity can cause more false signals. Use longer time frames (4h, 1D) on altcoins to filter noise.
- Watch BTC first, altcoins second: Bitcoin leads the crypto market. If BTC is selling off, even fundamentally strong altcoins will drop. Always check BTC's trend before making any altcoin trade.
- Use the AI for crypto analysis: The AI chat handles crypto just like stocks. Ask "Analyze BTC's current setup" or "Compare ETH vs SOL as long-term holds" for instant analysis backed by live market data.
Common Patterns
"BTC dominance rotation"
Bitcoin dominance drops from 54% to 48% over two weeks while BTC's price is flat. This means capital is flowing from BTC into altcoins. Open the Crypto Markets page and sort by 7-day Change % to find the biggest movers. Look for layer-1 coins (SOL, AVAX, ADA) and DeFi tokens (UNI, AAVE) with strong volume. This is the classic "altcoin season" setup. When dominance starts climbing again, it is time to rotate back to BTC or take profits.
"Altcoin season signals"
You notice that ETH/BTC ratio (Ethereum priced in Bitcoin) is trending up on the daily chart. At the same time, 3+ altcoins in the top 20 are hitting 30-day highs. These are altcoin season signals. Use the trending coins section on the Crypto Markets page to identify which sectors are leading — is it DeFi tokens, gaming coins, or layer-2s? Focus your exposure on the leading sector rather than buying everything.
"DeFi yield comparison"
You want to evaluate DeFi tokens as investments. Open the crypto charts for UNI, AAVE, MKR, and LINK. Compare their market caps, daily volumes, and 90-day price performance. Ask the AI: "Compare UNI vs AAVE vs MKR — which DeFi protocol has the best fundamentals?" Layer in the chart analysis — check which ones are in uptrends on the daily time frame and have RSI above 50 but below 70 (healthy momentum without being overbought).
